In 2025, the Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust (MHFNT) was pleased to provide funding to the Fenway Community Center as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful community programs in our neighborhood.

We are very happy to support their work, which focused on a range of creative and hands-on activities for local residents. With this funding, they were able to organize painting sessions, crafting programs, and ceramic workshops that brought people together to learn, create, and connect.

It is rewarding for us to see our support translated into such engaging community experiences.

national braille press

In 2025, the Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust (MHFNT) funded National Braille Press. We are truly happy to support their work in making children’s books accessible to blind and visually impaired readers. Through this grant, we received a copy of “Harry, el perrito sucio”, a thoughtful print book that helps children learn about empathy and understanding differences.

It is especially meaningful for us to see our funding go toward something so practical and impactful.

Back of the Hill CDC

This summer, the Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust was delighted to support the Back of the Hill Community Development Corporation in bringing live music to our beautiful Butterfly Park.

Thanks to our community grant, the park was filled with the sound of music and the joy of neighbors coming together for a wonderful summer concert. It’s always a pleasure to see our funding help create such vibrant, shared experiences right here in our neighborhood.

Friends of ramler park, inc.

There's nothing quite like the sound of live jazz floating through the trees on a warm summer evening. Last month, that exact scene came to life in the heart of the Fenway, thanks to the wonderful work of the Friends of Ramler Park, Inc. and a grant from Mission Hill Fenway Neighborhood Trust.

We were proud to support their "Jazz Concert in Ramler Park" as part of our ongoing commitment to enriching our community through arts and culture. The August evening was a perfect blend of fantastic music, great company, and a beautiful setting—a true testament to the vibrant spirit of our neighborhood.

We were especially thrilled that one of our board members, Ed Ballo, was able to join the festivities and capture these wonderful moments.

Fenway Alliance

We are thrilled to share the incredible impact of our grant to the Fenway Alliance, supporting the YMCA Huntington Avenue Teen Stage at the 2024 Opening Our Doors festival. What began as a pilot program has now blossomed into a permanent part of the YMCA’s teen curriculum, empowering young voices and fostering creativity.

This year, the teens presented their exciting plans for the 2025 festival, showcasing the program’s growth and sustainability—all made possible by MHFNT’s seed funding. Operation P.E.A.C.E.

Last year, with funding from MHFNT, Operation P.E.A.C.E. organized a delightful trip for local seniors to Plymouth, MA. The group enjoyed a day of history, fresh air, and camaraderie, creating wonderful memories together.
